Sports Are the Beginning, Not the Finish Line –

At Summit Sportsplex, we believe sports are more than games — they’re tools for growth and opportunity. Our mission is to remove barriers so every young person in Roanoke can learn, play, and lead. Through Community Access, we open our doors to local schools and organizers at little or no cost. With Elite Training, we offer camps and leagues that build skill, discipline, and character — with scholarships to keep them within reach.

Because Opportunity Shouldn’t Be a Privilege

Founded by Roanoke native Kevin Connelly, Summit Sportsplex was born from a lifelong love of sports and a belief that every child deserves the chance to play. After leading his family’s third-generation business, Kevin set out to create a place where athletics could build more than skills — a space that fosters access, character, and connection for all youth in the community.
